23 Nordic Venture, 1989
Can anyone tell me anything about a 23 Nordic Venture. I found a 1989 that looks like it just rolled out of the showroom floor. It's making about 450hp, guy says it does 70 all day long and saw 74 once. I'm interested but I can't find anything about it.
If anyone can give any insight I'd really appreciate it. Are they a tough well built boat? Do they handle chop well? Hull good for high speed? etc etc. Any general or specific info you guys may have would be awesome. Or anything to look out for on a used one.
thanks

well....From the lack of replies and the fact I can't find but 1 other one in the states for sale this boat must have either have been made cheap, with low nubmer that have survived.....or such low numbers were made in the first place.
I'm begining to think this boat is an odball.....

I bought a new 23 Venture at the LA Boat Show back in 1992. Power was 454 mag (365 hp), boat ran 68 mph and handled outstanding. Since then I have owned several 28's and three 35's, the Venture remains one of my favorites. Great lake boat.

Yeah, we ordered this boat in February of 1992 at the LA Boat Show. Back then loans were easy to come by and they sold ice cold bottled Molson to help with the decision process.
Although over the years our boats became bigger and faster the Venture will go down as one of our favorites. As you can see, we haven't moved away from our scarlet & gray colors, Go Bucks!
BTW - this boat is still running on Lake Cumberland and still looks good.
