Default Wind deflector installation

I got my new Nordic wind deflectors and now I have to install them. I see they mount under the windshield. Any advise on drilling the holes in the windshield? This is making my butt pucker.

Tape up the windshield with some good masking tape. Dry fit the brackets. I do not have them, but I am assuming they are a u shape bracket to fit over the edge of the windshield. When they are in position, secure them, and I would try to drill your pilot with them in place. Pretty sure speed is a good thing with plexiglass. Too slow can cause cracking if I remember right. After that, take the brackets off and keep the tape in place, maybe even throw a new piece of tape over before stepping up in drill size. That is how I would do it.
