Nordic Heat Trailer Weight
I know I did a lot of searching before I bought my boat, figured Id post this up for future buyers.
I had to get a certified weight on my trailer as part of the registration process. 2006 Nordic Roadrunner steel triaxle empty w/o spare weighed 1680lbs.
I know the dry weight of the Heat was listed at 4600, I figure wet weight full of fuel and gear is closer to 5500-5800.
Loaded weight on the trailer is going to be in the 7000-75000lb range. I tow mine with a half ton and have no problems, but I would say it depends on the age of your truck. Half tons built in the last couple years are a lot more capable than those 10 years ago.

What yr 1/2ton? I just purchased a 05 heat and will be towing with a 03 yukon 5.3L and 3.73 rear end rated for 7700lbs also rear airbags. I will be towing flat land 30 most one way, and will be upgrading in a yr or so.

I used a 2013 F150 Ecoboost that was rated to tow 10xxxlb. I had an 02 Sierra 5.3 3.73 back in the day, towed ~7500 with it. It did it, but it didnt like it. The SUV platform with the air suspension is a good tow platform, the 5.3 just doesn't make a whole lot of torque, and at that, peaks around 4100rpm. You will need to wind it up....

I used to pull my heat with a half ton 5.3 and it did fine most the time. It struggled a little getting up some of the longer mountain canyon pulls and was a little scary coming down hills as it felt like it was getting pushed around a little too much for my liking. I now pull it with a 3/4 ton cummins and can hardly tell it's hooked up. I do miss the half ton for daily driving though. Driving a 3/4 ton around all the time sucks!

I tow my heat with a 6.2L Yukon with the 8 speed. Love it and have been surprised at how well it does. Only towed it once with my 3/4 ton cummins. No need to use the pick up and might as well go for comfort. And I tow it 4 hours one way to the lake a lot.

This is THE best money you can spend on your towing setup. Remember, surge brakes only work when your truck/trailer is in a straight line, going forward; AND the tow vehicle is effectively slowing down. If your tow vehicle is sliding or skidding sideways, your trailer is not braking, and is going to push you into a worse predicament.
