I boat at Lake Havasu elevation 450 feet temps in the summer are very hot most of time around 110 degrees and the boat runs 90-91 at 5600 rpm's with just me and a full tank of gas, when the weather is a little cooler it will do 92-93 with the same load.
I had bblades build me a spare Maximus and it worked just about as good as the Mercury labbed prop but not quite, so I just sold it so I can get another Mercury prop just like the one I have.

I have never measured my x dimension and it is at the stock height which I think is pretty high because it is noticeably higher then the drive height on a 1998 heat I had before this 2010. You might have to remove the spacer for a Maximus to work.
