This is intended to be a no-work fun weekend,if we need a permit to cook on an island and get equipment there I am not personally interested, however if the locals want to pick up the slack that fine ,but the less you tell the authoritys the better,as far as I know we are not breaking any rules getting 10-15 boats together to make a low speed run around the lake in the fall,if this alone or cooking on an island requires permits then just dont do it.

Joe, No permits needed to have a bunch of boats get together and have a fun day. We will need the standard day use permits for the island use. Thats just a matter of going to the ranger station and getting the permit. NO HEADACHE INVOLVED I think its 10.00 per dock or something like that. I could also throw a party at the house instead of the island if the weather doesnt co-operate.

Lets start getting a firm head/boat count and Ill plan a menu out and arrange to get the docks for the day

We will make it simple and fun just like we did in years past

Count me in...I shouldn't have more then 3 people on my boat including myself. I would obviously be willing to chip in on any costs associated with this.

Ill figure a menu and then put together together a price per person....sound good ???

Speaker Heck Island pavilion is what Im planning on, Its on the south end of the Lake just south of Long Island. It can accomodate about 15-20 boats

Im thinking

burgers and dogs
Salads
Clams
Steak and chicken
corn
baked potato

We can run in the am. Then get to the island by 100 pm

Is that the ramp at million dollar beach in your avatar? You were able to get a 32 Fountain in/out at that ramp?

I'm pretty sure you were tailing me on the way home from Sacandaga. I waved(not sure if you saw). That drive sucked in my hungover state!

Oh, BTW I am in for the fun run. Count on 1 boat and 4 people.
