It is not often when you can spin 55 miles on the sled in the morning and go boating in the afternoon on LG all in the same day. Gotta love the northeast.

Another warm 60+ day today, Wednesday March 17th.
Forecast was for 10-20mph SW wind so we actually had 0-5mph N wind all day.
Ice still packed in down toward village.
Main lake open.
Lots melted today.

We had a boat in Tuesday and had a nice cruise. The west side had some damage. LGClub docks got hit along with some other ones near by. PKMarina also got hit, all four of their stake docks were smashed up. Their crib dock is fine still. There was lots of ice south of LongIs still. We could not get into Katskill Bay, Sandy bay, Harris Bay, etc. Could not get to Canoe Is. 65 degrees...So nice. First cruise of the season. No skiing this year tho, too windy.

Thursday March 18th, noon time. Forecast for big SW wind today so.....dead calm. Good for less ice damage. Still warm.

Some ice left in the bays and in the village but it is over..Nice, not a lot of damage.
