Default Boat Opening

I wanted to start a thread asking what are people plan for boat openings?

I am thinking of opening early April. Spend a good portion of the month prepping and fixing things and being in the water early May.

Is it bad that the inside of my boat is in my house? Got the new flooring, recovered vinyl, seats, hatches, etc. in the room above my garage. Hope to start re-assembly after i'm done snowmobiling (next week or so). Then still have to do the spring maintenance, cleaning, and somehow move about 100' of rock wall in my yard by boating season. I gotta go!

Uhh didnt you just buy that boat and not even use it?

Whats up with the outdrive.

remember when Kev was saying last week he couldnt wait for it to 60 so he could go for a rip, now its 70 , then its gonna be 80.

Take the barge out of dry dock!
If Mine ran it would have been in the water, TODAY.

When I bought the boat one drive was down at TNT being redone, that drive is now on the boat so I figured why not get the other one done so they are both fresh. Anyone who knows me will tell you then next I will redo the interior and freshin the motors and then when it's all nice and new I will sell it for fifty cents on the dollar.

If I didn't think this process would take years, I'd hold off on buying another boat for this season!

Good call on doing the other drive. Given the hours on the engines, I assume the engines are getting torn down after this season? Once those are addressed, that boat will be near perfect!
