owner of our Marina did the run last year...he has the trip 45 sonic. Not sure if they are doing it again this year.

I felt the same way, but if we don't go the dick's who complained win and we lose.
Let the towns and state spend 50 grand on us "outlaws". Let's go out and compete for who can make a perfect LEGAL run, don't give the bastards a reason to write a single ticket. If the cops have an "unproductive" day, they'll tire of this quickly and leave us alone.

I heard they will be running radar from on shore somewere and then radio in ahead and undercovers in a boat to see who is drinking on a boat,just be careful guys I have family that are state police so that's what I heard.

If there is any truth to that...sounds like they want to end the run altogether. Several of the boats running barely plane with good stability below the allowable speed limit. probably less safe to run at those low speeds the to run at a normal cruise.
