Hey Rich...
Has anyone reached out to "The Man" for guidance and help with this stuff? You know: to enlist their services in the spirit of education. So we're all learning together not being adversaries. Why can't they meet us at the ramps with up to date maps, guide us through no wakes, maybe even pace for us. Involve them so it's not an us vs. them mentality. Which it's been for years with the noise thing. Hell, I'd love a free decibel test...for my own knowledge.
Anybody actually know any of these guys?
Just my $0.02...

Pizza at 12:30
People tend to start leaving "Pizza Beach" around 2 , some go north to Hartford some go south to where they launched

Usually there's a group that launches around 10 in Old Saybrook and a group that meets up at Haddam Meadows around 9. Smaller ramp there means more time to drop everyone. There's also a few people that do the Salmon River ramp near Goodspeed and some from Glastonbury I think. A little before 10's a good rule of thumb wherever you go.

FYI for those that may not know, I certainly didn't until I took a boating safety course, NO WAKE BUOYS are enforced within a 400 foot radius. I believe that is the correct number? What that means is you are to be off plane with no wake prior to entering the radius of the NO WAKE BUOY. So many think (including me) that when you get to the buoy you are to be of plane. That is not the case. That is why if a NO WAKE ZONE goes for any considerable distance, you will notice the buoys are about 400 feet apart from each other...
Have a great run guys !
