We knew that when we spent so much time + money trying to fight this.

The lies from the side wanting the speed limit where appalling.

Where you there for all the local and state meetings? It was nutz !

They even said the Coast Gurad was incorrect with their facts that stated such.

And now, since then , we have wake surfing which is causing damage to boats and shoreline up at our end of the lake.

Not to mention there have been a lot more accidents since the speed limit.

Alcohol abuse, untrained drivers (but they passed the boating course!) and lack of respect for others are the issues. My opinion, as long as you aren't an idiot in a cove or crowded area, they don't seem to say much about speed. Sound on the other hand, that the largest challenge that the lake faces based on the fine table compared to other violations. Silly to me. "Live Free and Comply"
