Re: Operation Santa Claus???
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to drop a note to update you on the status of Operation Santa:
Overall we sold 26 jackets and received donations that enabled us to donate $2,000 to 5 families days before Christmas. The warm heartfelt reception by all of the families was incredible.
As for the status of the jackets
unfortunately there are still jacket sizes and colors that are on back order. The supplier assures me that they will all be in next week and they can tehn get shipped to the embroider. All of your credit cards were not charged until this past Friday. NJPPC fronted the $2,000 donation in December. As soon as the jackets are complete, they will be shipped ASAP!
Operation Santa - Plummer Family Truck
As an offspring of Operation Santa, we also raised $3,500 between 4 donors (Scott Applegate, Sy Goldberg, John Mattaliano and Dave Patnaude) to purchase the Plummer family a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Limited! James Plummer's car was in such disrepair that it was scrapped while he was serving overseas.
We just purchased the truck this weekend! It was not easy to find a nice vehicle for $3,500. It took over a month to find! James Plummer will arrive into McGuire Air Force base tomorrow after serving in IRAQ for 1 year. Next week we will be delivering the truck to him. His wife knows but it is still a total suprise to him. We will take photos of the delivery for all to see.
Thank you again for your patience and helping make alot of special people smile.

Re: Operation Santa Claus???
OK, any more news on the status of the jackets and Powerboat Mag. subscriptions? I can see a hold up with the jackets but I think by now I should have at least received one issue. Maybe my order is lost or address is incorrect.
Dave, Do you receive my emails and PM's?
Thankyou,
Rob
