It`s going slow as I expected and yes, it will get wet this summer. I plan on washing it several times.

Now that I have the cap shaped properly and realize how good I look in white, I would like to recant my complaint.

If/when it gets dirty it will just add character to it. The light color does help keep my head cooler also.

Thank you all for taking my complaint seriously and for responding to it.

But never mind.

Also, as most boater wifeys know, when the white caps get a little dirty, we put them in the dishwasher. It works, I was enlightened by Mrs. Fox Hunter!

I am the official complaint department but please remember that unless I have the government-mandated handrails installed to my backside that I can legally only have three people on my ass at one time. Take a number and wait your turn, bub. This ain't the license bureau.
