Default Pirate Ball Location

Does anyone have an idea where would be the best place to have the Pirate's Ball this year. The first idea was downtown Chicago so out of town guest can enjoy the city before and after the party. It will be on Saturday, October 22

Any ideas????????????????? Please post.

maybe we could get one of those cruise ships out of Navy Pier and rent an entire deck out for our party!?!? Then we take over the boat and act like real pirates!!!

I think the owner of the Anita Dee (or what ever that boat is called) is a client at my buddy's hair salon......maybe we can get some deal.......i'll make a call and ask him to get in touch with them.

The available options to party afterwards would be best if we were in Chicago or reseasonably close by.

Like the boat cruise idea....Mark's company does an office/client party each year on the Mystic Blue. We have fun. Navy Pier is a beautiful setting and view of skyline.

That boat cruise idea is good. I am just not sure if we are up for another trip in just to go to a party at Hammond, nothing against Hammond mind you, I just want to get to downtown.

Totally understand. We are there all summer, so would prefer a different location. Think most agreed that we wanted to take it a notch up from the previous at Hammond Yacht Club. Need to cap off a successful Poker Run and season with a little more Bling. That being said.....you have to also add that it will cost per couple quite a big more than previous Pirate Ball, and then a hotel room. After taking a few slaps at the pumps for our cars, and our boats, want to make sure the members are up for that part, as well.
