A good friend of mine purchased an 05 46 Cig Rough Rider about the middle of July. He was supposed to run it in our poker run, but because of an ignition problem that was'nt fixed till that weekend he could'nt attend.
Lois and I have been aboard his boat almost every weekend for the past month. We alternate running each others boats, day by day. We've been on it when there have 4 ft seas, 10 people aboard, filled with fuel, and I still seen 99 mph on the GPS.
It has a pr. of Mercury 900 S/C's with #6 dry sumps, and Herring 5 blades. With seeing almost 9 lbs. of boost @ 6000 rpm and speeds of almost 110, Dave Wesseldyk says that the previous owner must of tweaked the pulleys. Never the less, the boat sounds and runs GREAT.
Here are a few pics of Ricks boat, and BTW, I signed him up as a club member when I seen him at the Chicago boat show.
