Good point Steve, I was listening to the weather for the south half of lake Mich, within 5 miles of shore, from Winthrope harbor to Calumet harbor. Chicago falls somewhere in the middle of that.

Mark,
No idea. I called Bob a few times today but have not heard back from him. We were supposed to be at the Marina today but life decided it had better plans for us. Vicki is working till 8:30 am. Not sure when we will be at Hammond. I'll give you a call when we get to the Marina.

Man, you guys sound like how my whole summer has been.
Linda isn't going today, Air Karl is riding with me. Maybe we'll get down to Hammond around 12:30 or so.

We spent the day in the "play pen", there was the "last" raftoff of the year in there, and we probably had about 20 boats partying, with the DJ playing, girls dancin all over the decks, and alot of good times.
Party broke up about 5:30 ish, and we took some friends out for a little cruise. We ran the lakefront from Jackson park to Belmont harbor a few times at around 90+ ish. There were a few offshore boats that tried to run against us, but our cruise speed was a little bit too much for any of them. Once we got on top of those swells, the boat ran so smooth, I did'nt want to slow down. The faster we ran, the less the boat aired out. There were a few times that we had about a 3-4 second "hang time", but, everyone in the boat loved it, including me.
Next weekend looks terrible as far as the weather goes, and the following weekend we'll be in Fla for the Sarasote PR. The fuel guages still show 2/3's full. I hope I don't have to pump the rest of the fuel back into drums for the winter. Maybe we'll have a nice weekend in October.

Sounds like the weather at home was less than desirable. I spent all weekend at Lake Norman NC on a 38 Formula. The weather down here was great in the mid 80's, I even managed to get a sunburn
