Come over to boaters beach. Warm water, better atmosphere, and right around the corner. I'll be there.

Where is Wells and Boaters Beach? Are they near East Chicago Marina? I know there is a beach to the East, just don't know the name.

Wells St is east of East Chicago....just keep going until the factories end and the dunes begin....1st beach is Miller, then Wells....Miller is usually covered with jet skis.

Boater's Beach is just east of Portage, and I will be there next weekend!

Good! Hope to see you there. What a great weekend, warm water, nice weather and the water was perfect for running. Went to New Buffalo and saw Gary with the Enough 4 Play Outer limits, man is that boat sick! Kevin king had a grey OL down there so that makes 4 OL'sin one marina, WOW, now that is a lot of candy in one place. O I forgot to mention the beer was cold and free flowing!

I had every intention on taking the boat out. Saturday my buddy backed out, he had something going on. Then sunday, me and my fiance had a late start, got to the ramp at burnham at 12:30. Parking lot was full, no where to put the truck and trailer, so we just went home. I was sick about it, the weather was hot and steamy, and the beach was sounding so good!

If you exit East Chicago and hook around to the SE what beach is that? I have been there quite a few times.

Back in the late 80's my uncle kept his Formula on the rack at East Chicago, then Pastrick Marina.

Pastrick has been my "home base" so far this year, but we were out of Portage yesterday. Both ramps are nice...Portage is a bit steep, but you've got a big truck, shouldn't be a problem. $20 at Pastrick (exit 5 Cline Ave), $10 at Portage (exit 19).
