Sold my boat!

Finally sold the old Excalibur two weeks ago. So if you see it around the lake next summer, tell it I said HI. The guy that bought it is local, new to offshore boats. Hope he has good luck with it, and hope he joins the CPC.

My original plan was to sell the 40Ft'er, and go to something a little smaller. Now that its gone, I have had a couple weeks to play boat shopper. After weighing out my options, it seems the only wiegh to go is bigger and faster.

Im staying with the old school wave crusher theme, Ive pretty much got the boat picked out, unless the survey shows something I dont like. Plans for 2008 include the poker run, fun runs, more time at boaters beach, etc. If the deal goes thru, Im gonna need to put a hitch on my Mack, and break out my 80's style Linen pants

So then that was'nt you running in the lake last weekend?? When we seen your boat, we waved to ya, but noone waved back. Thought maybe because it was kinda far away. Looked like there were 2 people in the boat idleing through the playpen.

What ya lookin at now???

That must have been the new owner. I sold it on a wednesday, Tommy Houston came to pick it up and take it to riverdale for the new owner. The new owner called me that evening and said the port engine wouldnt start, and him and tommy tried everything, it wasnt getting any gas to the carb. So I took a ride out to riverdale. By the time I got there they had figured either the fuel pump was shot, or the gas lines to the tank went bad, I looked at the gas gauges, and the port was empty! Guess I got carried away on my last ride with it! He put gas in and voila!

I am really thinking about this thing.

Back in the 80's, that 402 was one bad azz ride. A good friend of mine had one with 540's and SSM III's. This one looks like someone took real good care of it. I love the cabin. And I'll bet the girls will too.

Yea, a/c and generator is nice for the overnight stays. I would bet that black would be a biotch to keep after, for sure.

Nice looking rig. With 600+ hp and on the back of a long heavy boat, those TRS drives are going to be the weak link. Be gentle with it and you should be fine...
