Worlds fastest V-hull come to Chicago
Mike Lovergine just bought Reggie Fountains 40' boat that holds the world speed record of 171mph for a V-hull. So between Shogren's 45' cat killer and Mke's new world record holder boat us cat boys need to look out.
He lives on the Chain-O-Lakes Fox River. He also is no stranger to fast Fountains with his last few well over 100 mph.

Congats, That looks like a brand new boat? Are you saying it is the actual boat the set the record?

I also thought cat killer was the boat that set the record, but Mike told me that his is the actual record setting hull. All the grahics were pulled and it was re-painted white.

Brad, I think thats the boat I saw going up 294 I think last tuesday. I think it was being pulled by a ford. Sho looks good. When I saw it my thoughts were scott shogren bought a new boat. I hope the guy enjoys his new toy. Brian

No power, no drives. He is looking for sixes and the new power will be large enough to run big numbers. I need to start looking for my nitrous kits.
