Its best when they tune them on the dyno first and then fine tune in the boat. I dont know that they were done like that previously.
Good job Ateco.

Kris said he thought they would be honest 700s when he was building them. Now I understand what he means when he says his are 800s. Next step is to get them in the boat, put the five blades in the box, put four blades on (not that the XRs are going to be happy anyway), and do the final tuning in the boat. PS, spare XR in garage, hope it stays there.

Whatcha talkin about Willis. I screwed up on your motors, now we have the same horsepower.
Everyone is going to be hearing the damn song with Wendy on lead vocals.

Put the 5 blades in the Swap, not the box!! Too much for the drives in that boat!

Kris,
Where exactly are you parking that boat of yours. Rick can steal your motors and I need to steal the drives. Of course Rick would spend the next year polishing all the screws before he would try them in his boat :-)
I plan to get them in the boat this Saturday (weather allowing) and then schedule sometime with Bill to get the on water tuning done. I will keep you updated.

As long as I get to cut the opening in Rick's hatch he can use my motors for a while.
I look forward to seeing the motors in your boat. Talk to ya this weekend.

No need to cutup a boat this is designed correctly before it is built.
Those engines would be a good match for this boat. Too bad they are going in a boat that can't benefit from all the hp that is available.

When you got a brick, you use brute force to make it go.
But I only have 50 more horses than you and I remember going around you.

Kris, Now were back to what you call 800. Let's talk him into blowers on that 43, Wendy can only kill him once. But let's wait until we get my motors back in, he is the only one who can reach the starters. dj
