Launch ramp South side
Anyone familiar with the launch ramp that is on the south side that goes into the chicago river? You can see it off of 294 I think it is next to a truck dealership but not positive. What exit do you get off at if you are on 294 south bound and how do you gat over there?

The only disadvantage to Worth could be the lack of a 3rd lane and the dock space is less. When it is crowded, I just drop off the wife to go get the trailer while I idle around the docks.
I recommend taking the westerly route, just personal preference though...

theres one I went to one time right off I55 and first ave and archer. It was fun seeing
signs that say "water not suitable for human contact" after me and a buddy were in it waist deep trying to get junk out of our pumps.

I was thinking of taking that route the weekend of the air and water show. I`m sure Burnam will be a mad house

another option
Some of the bars and marina right next to the O'Brien Locks have launch ramps and secure parking for a fee. SunSet Bay comes to mind first. They have fuel, pump-out and are a full service marina should problems arise. There are a couple of other places right their too.
