Ben Watts on Rt 12 on the south end of Fox Lake IL is a real nice launch ramp. They know we are coming and open at 8:00 AM. As you come out of the Marina on the water go left around the point a few hundred yards to Famous Freddies which is our start and end point. Dinner will be at Famous Freddies upstairs. Good food all included in the fee.

I would have to buy a day pass to avoid getting puled over on the water correct? Does Ben Watts sell them? I wont know if I can make it to the run until late Sat eve so I am trying to have my ducks in a row. I was hoping I can still register that morning if need be. Thanks in advance.

Ben Watts Marina

Fox Lake, IL 60020

They have three large ramps and plenty of parking for large rigs.

Can not miss it. Very large marina on the west side of RT 12. Plus look for all the large boats launching that morning
Ben Watts sells one day passes for the Waterway.
I confirmed with them and they are ready for us. Open at 8:00 AM Sunday.

Famous Freddies is about 200 yards to the left of Ben Watts coming out of the harbor mouth around the point on Pistakee Lake. Very easy to find.

Get the waterway pass before you launch so you do not hold up the ramps.
