At dinner I believe they said the helicopter was from boatpix.com. They were actually taking pics of a sailboat event and decided to get some of us also.

We hired an airplane and a professional photographer for the run. In additon to the camera, he had 4 go pro's on the plane. The problem was the helicopter from boat pix were taking pics of the start of the mackinac race and peeled of from that to take pictures of our run.

When they did that, it took our airspace at 500ft and our pilot could go no lower than 1500ft. We do have some pic's but they are from 1500ft. I'm not a pilot and have no idea how that works

Trust me, I was very disappointed. Go to boat pix website, the should have several pictures

ANOTHER Great Thunder Run, and the weather was amazing! Here is a video (a little long (7 mins.), but better than the original, which was 18 mins. (mostly sky). Hope you Enjoy!

I'm not sure you will WANT to. Check out the prices they charge for a pic....

It amazes me what they charge for pics....I wonder what the ratio is of pics taken versus pics sold...I'm sure it is very low.

Oh I know..... I just want to creep on a few... I highly doubt I would fork over the $$ to buy... Buy ya never know

I had them send me some proofs about 5 yrs ago. They were so grainy and out of true focus. Hope they have improved since then.
