interested in OE information

New to this section, would like info on 31,33 OE cat, currently have a 27 cougar and am thinking of going to 30+ with twins. I am looking to get more of a cabin than I have and want big water stability, the boat will be trailered every where so I dont know about the 10' beam on the 33, I would power with 800hp and been thinking of the bravo conversion Arneson drives. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I remember one 33 being for sale in the Detroit area. Research E-bay and Boattrader or boattraderonline. A broker has it listed. He also has a 39 named "Trust Me" for sale.

Re: interested in OE information

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking of having a boat built and hoped I could find some one with seat time in the 31 and 33, that could give me some feed back. Bigger is always better but I am concered about the trailering of a 10' boat. I wanted a boat set up with two forward sets, controls in center console, access to cabin on both sides.

Re: interested in OE information

i trailered my 33 from venice/sarasota fl to deland 2 weeks ago thru po-dunk towns and hills and curves and 150 miles of interstate 75, it pulled absolutly perfect and gas mileage wasnt that bad, i think i averaged 10-11 mpg with an 05 dodge 1500 4x4,hemi(baby),, fully rigged with 540's and full of fuel 200gallons, so i wouldnt worry that much about towing ,i think its more in set-up of the trailer and balance, and of coarse, brakes ! by the way mine is for sale and has the center option your looking for with brand new motors and etc,etc winter price $100,000. us

Re: interested in OE information

do you have any problems with overwidth when trailering, I am from WA and the highways are a mess, lots of cars and police.

Re: interested in OE information

My beam is 12 foot. It is challenging to haul.

I believe the 33's are 10 ft.
