Default ASD Vertical Trim

I would like to know how many of the OX owners run the vertical trim on their surface drives. I would also like to know how much of a neccesity is it to have? I see most boats are like 50/50 split on who has it and who does not.

I have a 2002 without trim. I think it would be nice to have. If you are looking for a boat it may be for sale.

Mad mac I have the fixed style asd's on my 39' ox. They are still adjustable manually for fine tuning. I live in lambertville area and would be pleased to show you my set-up and share any knowledge I have on asd drives. My friend has hydraulic trim on his asd drives. He is a short drive away. Gene

Hay PhatKat I appreciate the offer when you want me to stop over? I would love to check it out. I am mechanicly inclinded but I have never really looked it over. I was wondering what has to be done to convert them over? is there anything in the drive that needs to be done or can you just setup a trim clyinder and pump setup to do it.

why so much i can build them way less than that ( I am a machinist and have my own hydraulics repair shop at home) I can build whatever you would like to have, they will have more Bling than the 7 granders I have built many setups for hydraulic steering systems so I know they can't be much more work.
