Nice boat. I hope that one day my boat will look that good. I bought boots old 39'. If anyone has the history on this boat I would love to hear about it.
Ok - sorry for not keeping an eye on this thread, I'm asleep at the wheel! And not the wheel of the 39'
It was going slow already and then I bought a Wellcraft Excalubur 45 to have a weekend cruiser while I worked on the 39. Probably shouldn't have because now I spend my summer weekends with a cold one in hand instead of a wrench in hand getting the OE going.
The motors are all completely rebuilt and ready to dyno. They got new JE pistons and a complete new valvetrain from roller cam to valves and about everything in between. Everything else was already top notch.
I've been derailed lately though as I am buying a company so it's been just as slow going. I know I'll get tarred and feathered by you guys for saying it but I might be interested in selling the 39 OE it if the price where fair. Problem is I haven't even thought about what a fair price would be.
I'll keep working on it and maybe next summer you'll see it splash!

Hey Todd, the motors look great. Who did all of the motor work? What did they dyno in at?

Hi Jason,
Thanks! We didn't spare any expense when we put them together. The machine work and much of the assembly was done by Jimmy Dean in Rochester, and I did the rest myself.
Haven't got to the dyno yet but I'm working on it. I usually us Ron at R&R in mpls. but I have one that turns backwards with the Arnesons and he can't run them. There is a new DTS up near Ashland, WI that a friend told me about. I think I'll take them up there when I'm ready.

Awesome, we will be dynoing our new intercoolers tomorrow at Rons. Let me know how the dyno sessions turn out.
