Can anyone tell me how they run/handle in rough water with the asd setups and counter rotating motors?? Any structural issues with this hull to watch for?? Thanks!

The 39’s are very good in rough water. The Arneson’s are virtually bulletproof (depending on how much HP you are running), and give you a little more speed than a Mercruiser drive. The boats were built solid, but there are a few areas to look at….Check the fuel tanks, look at the area where the upper Arneson support bolts thru the transom, you will usually see cracks at the bussle but normally they are more cosmetic than structural. A lot of the 39’s have had updates through the years, which boat are you looking at?

I haven't seen the boat personally. If you need a surveyor in Michigan, give Dennis Biel a call @ 586-463-5526. He is as good as they come and is very familiar with OE's.

FYI
I had a survey done on the boat in January...two stringers rotted near back of engines and port side transom needs replaced.
Owner would not adjust price to allow $$ to repair hull.
I currently have an offer on the boat without engines, since the engines will have to come out anyway, and I have my own 540's.

Have you guys looked at Pure Adrenalin? It is for sale @ Custom Marine Sales. Dennis put a ton of time, effort and $$'s into the restoration. It is a beautiful boat and is priced right.

We've been looking at it drooling! However, financing seems damn near impossible on a cat right now. He was hoping for something he can pay cash for..... and "Pure Adrenaline" just isnt in the budget, although it is beautiful!
