Pete thanks for the kind words, to give you a little insight on what happened to us after the green flag dropped we were running flat out one quarter mile outside of turn one the boat did a 180 we straightened out the boat and preceded to race; three and a half laps later the drive let loose. Big gouge out of the skeg my guess is we hit something rather large!

Interesting - 4 laps X 5.7 miles = 22.8 miles. If you had been running a 22 mile race, you and Randy would have finished second instead of 5th.

Let me guess.........you had your checkbook out ready to write a $1,000,000 check for sponsorship, and now you've changed your mind.
