Re: Report Card
Some good ideas are being flushed out.
To clarify, the questionnaires will be on standard size US Post Office business reply cards. No postage necessary, I’ll cover the postage as the cards are returned.
Hand out and collection at the races with a prize drawing from returned responses is an excellent idea for improved response. People love tee shirts.
List of questions is appreciated. I’ll get my professional marketing people to decide the final format.

Re: Report Card
Okay, I'll go first, just some basic questions to get the juices flowing:
1. Are you a racer, sponsor/advertiser, or spectator?
2. How did you hear about this race?
3. What did you like most about this race location?
4. What did you like least about this race location?
5. How would you improve racing at this location?
6. Would you introduce a friend to racing? Why or Why not?
7. Other comments:

Re: Report Card
Okay, one idea as a supplement,
My wife had this "corny" idea of handing out pencils with our team name on them...I didn't see a reason to spend our limited budget on pencils folks would probably just throw away anyway. Now we may have a good reason to do pencils. So we might be able to provide some writing utencils for folks to fill out the questionaires. I'm sure other teams could do the same, if they desire.

Re: Report Card
Race survey cards are ready to go to the printer.
I will send cards to the promoter of each race and ask them to have them available to teams at registration. If we can get the teams to pass them out to spectators in various locations during the races we will get a broader response.
I think the suggestion of a drawing for a free tee shirt to those who return the survey before the awards is an excellent idea. All surveys collected could then be forwarded to me in a single package.
My marketing team tried to incorporate as many ideas as possible into the survey. Size constraints of the business reply post card limited the amount of information that could be requested.

Re: Report Card
Very cool idea MD, just what do you think it would take to make it happen?I would think if you Included the forms in the racers packet the racers and crew could pass them out to fans . Also have the racers and crew fill them out. Input is good in most cases. Then have a turn in spot for the forms and when you turn them in you get some kind of reward(keychain, poster, somthing).Have them pre-stamped to mail them(option)

Re: Report Card
Well I was at the NYC race. Can someone post a pole for a report cars on the event for the fans that were there to answer. ( only in a constructive way please). I think Ken D. should take the lead on this.
PS I had a great time and saw a bunch of old friends I have not seen in a while.

Re: Report Card
I feel the race itself was great. I think we could have had more fans in The Pits with a little more P R work but all in all there were loads of spectators on the NY side as well as in Hoboken and Jersey City during the race. No injuries, no flips...I'd say a Great Weekend for everybody. THANKS to all the Medical crews, Volunteers, Racers and SBI/APBA.
