Hey Randy,
Any chance of some of you guys might want to have a little fun with us in N.Y.
Not starting anything...and if you don't I understand and there should be no shots being thrown
Just woundering what the N.Y race will be like with some different faces...

Re: Destin OSS RACE
As insignificant as this cancellation is in light of all the other hell this hurricane has caused, it is still unfortunate that Destin will not be able to host this event, it is a nice place to have a race.

Re: Destin OSS RACE
Destin is still recovering from Ivan last year, Dennis about 8 weeks ago...and now Katrina didn't help.
I also understand the SBI/APBA race at Ft Walton Beach was cancelled again this year due to continued recovery efforts from Ivan last year.
Nonetheless, Destin and FWB are so much better off than those unfortunate folks in the New Orleans area. It's gonna take many years for New Orleans to recover.

Re: Destin OSS RACE
Hey Randy,
Yes, the boat will be there unless something unseen happens...I am on my way to Ft. Luaderdale to pick it up...they are finishing some last minute things...
Won't have time to test...the first time she will she water is heading out to the milling area....
If you get a chane stop by.....

Re: Destin OSS RACE
Does anyone know the logistics (pits, launch site, etc.) that were going to be used for the Destin race? I've talked to several people around here and none of them knew anything about a race coming here. As for hurricane damage: Ft. Walton, Destin, Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City Beach are all fine - - - c'mon down !!!!
