The 2006 OSS World Championship event will be in Destin Florida this November. The serious decision by OSS was made to go to Destin with all efforts exausted to attend a Key West event. OSS made every possible attempt to negotiate a fair deal for their members to attend a unified event. Destin is a family friendly venue with all of the key elements for a success story in Offshore competition. Alan Laird , a prominent Destin buisnessman along with the city of Destin have plans for a five year streak of unprecedented events. Information on this story will un-fold shortly. I want everyone , racers, fans and all interested party's to know that we are so excited to secure such a world class location. Destin has never hosted an offshore race before, but we know without a doubt that this one is gonna be off the hook!
