Re: OSS SCL Puerto Rico
WOW. Accidents are one thing but recklessness and/or carelessness (whether real or verbal) are another. All of us like to consider ourselves to be racers but we must always remember that we are a "family of racers" first. As such, safety MUST always come before winning. There is absolutely no room for even the smallest joke or comment about recklessness on a race course. If this is really the feeling of certain individuals, then I would like to politely ask them to stay on the dock and let the rest of us enjoy some true sportsmanship. If this was a bad joke, then please refrain from such posts in the future because the consequences can be very ugly.

Dave,
Thanks for the wise statements, I certainly hope it helped cool some tempers, so we can get back to our regularly schedule program, and see who wins the poll, but who wins the race!!!!

look at this post and take as example , this is the way that a professional conduct himself, thanks Dave for the advice to the fellow racers,
what people don't understant is how many people they can endanger in this kind of situation and acctitude,
as a rescue diver for the last 16 years i been involve in many rescues, and is hard for us because the people that we are going after is usually a good Friend or someone that we know, when we jump in the water we risk our live to save yours, so please keep that in mind.

Re: OSS SCL Puerto Rico
ok, thanks. whoever, im sorry. i should not let statements, like these, fog my vision of racing in a safe and professional orginazation like O S S. if i have offended im sorry. these threats or jokes should stop. these are lives of my friends and an organization i truly believe in. if you want to harm people and their equipment go somewhere else, we will not tolerate it!
