Banana Plenty of hotel rooms for St Clair race in Port Huron

Plenty of hotel rooms in Port Huron, still available for the St Clair race.
Just 20 minuets North of St Clair, and easy access to I-94.
I just called around and asked for general availability and price. Some have more than others, but are for the most part close to the expressway and a quick 20 minuet ride to St Clair.

Here’s a list with some numbers if your still looking for a place to stay that weekend

Best Western 810-987-1600 plenty of rooms around $89
Comfort Inn 810-982-5500 rooms available $99 10% off for AAA & AARP
Days Inn 810-984-1522 rooms $119
Fairfield Inn 810-982-8500 rooms $89
Holiday Inn Express 810-987-5999 A few left $115 to $149
Hampton Inn 810-966-9000 rooms $89 to $99
Thomas Edison Inn 810-984-8000 plenty of rooms from $89 to $114

Hope this helps.

Sorry for posting here. I’m just a fan and visit daily just to keep up with the world of offshore.
I hope to get to chat with some of you in St Clair in person. Looking forward to a great event.
Thanks guys

No need to be sorry...
You brought a wealth of knowledge to the Racer's section which I know a still a few people have not booked yet.
I am sure they appreciate it.

I am already booked and done as of a few hours ago.

I should be very easy to find once I am there. Just look for the guy with a few cameras on hand, a SharkeyMarine.com shirt and running around trying help people where help is needed.... Afterall, that is what I do....

I am looking forward to this event.
This will be my 1st OSS event I attend and I get double the pleasure of having OPA there as well!

Ron,
You flying out Friday afternoon?

Re: Plenty of hotel rooms for St Clair race in Port Huron

Jim, are you related to Dennis?

Tim, Best I could do was on Northwest air. Out at 6:02 from Newark on Fri and leave DTW at 9pm Sunday night. $370 total. And the flights are very full.

I should have looked more at philly but the 9pm return was perfect for me, they just need to be done racing by 6pm.

Probably about $240. But when you factor in the extra hotel night and car.....

Plus I need to be back for Monday Am....

Take good pictures of the awards for me....

$240 (includes) the extra night + $24.49 for the car...

I can't wait!

This race sounds like what Point used to be way back when!

No I'm not related. I grew up in St Clair though and now live in Port Huron so this race is near and dear.

If anybody needs rooms for the St. Clair race, you can still book them through the Tourism & Convention Bureau. There is a link from the BWORA web site at st.clairrace.com. Rooms booked this way benefit BWORA in several ways including knowing how many room nights the race is gets booked for future promotions. Thanks.
