Sorry couldn't post during the event, but those dive gloves are murder to type in.
This race was great. The weather participated (mostly, and I have some awesome pics of the weather front coming in). We got pounded a bit, but no big deal. Had to take shelter under the bridge. My captain is none other than Jeff Delk from Yardarm, so I knew we would have no problems (mulitime world champions tend to be pretty good at running boats).
I took 4 rolls of film (although from a dive camera, so we shall see what comes out) and will post the good ones when I get them developed.
Warpaint, thanks for the wetdown. Somehow it must have been a premonition. We had just moved another 10 feet inside the course when ya came down not the front stretch, not the back stretch, but let's call it the inside stretch. I am real glad you were on plane since you were in about 2 ft of water.
Great job and congrats to the race teams, support fleet, and med and safety staff. This was another kick'n event. (and next year is gonna be even better
