Sorry couldn't post during the event, but those dive gloves are murder to type in.
This race was great. The weather participated (mostly, and I have some awesome pics of the weather front coming in). We got pounded a bit, but no big deal. Had to take shelter under the bridge. My captain is none other than Jeff Delk from Yardarm, so I knew we would have no problems (mulitime world champions tend to be pretty good at running boats).
I took 4 rolls of film (although from a dive camera, so we shall see what comes out) and will post the good ones when I get them developed.
Warpaint, thanks for the wetdown. Somehow it must have been a premonition. We had just moved another 10 feet inside the course when ya came down not the front stretch, not the back stretch, but let's call it the inside stretch. I am real glad you were on plane since you were in about 2 ft of water.
Great job and congrats to the race teams, support fleet, and med and safety staff. This was another kick'n event. (and next year is gonna be even better

Offshore Rescue.........sorry about the wet down...you guys looked like you needed to cool off....besides we couldn't get the RPM's up (props to big) I figured it would run quicker on land.
