“Drive It Or Bust It” Trophy To Be Presented in Destin

Destin / Fort Walton Beach – 11/6/06 You don’t have to be first to win a trophy in Destin. You might come in last, you might sink, or you might not even make it off the docks. OSSVL Team Typhoon from South Plainfield, NJ, dedicated its “Drive It Or Bust It” Trophy to the team that “overcame the most adversity at the United Worlds,” said Randy Schleuss, Throttleman of OSSVL #29, Typhoon.

The Typhoon team are experts in adversity, having broken countless drives, hoses, alternators, and pretty much anything breakable on a boat. The team that broke the most boats in the 2006 season are the Krazy Kubans of OSSVL Wild Card and OSSV Godspeed. The managed to break every boat they raced in this year’s season.

The trophy will be presented at the awards party on Sunday, November 12.
