Offshore Super Series name Mercury Racing as a
Presenting Sponsor for the 2008 season
No other company supports Offshore Powerboat Racing like Mercury Racing does and for that reason, the Offshore Super Series has named Mercury Racing as a Presenting sponsor of the 2008 OSS racing season.
Mercury Racing has supported the Offshore Super Series since it’s inception by bringing the fully stocked Mercury Racing support truck to all OSS events. This truck, manned by a full staff of Mercury Racing technicians are on-site to provide racers with the parts and service that they need to win races. “We support what we sell” Said Jim Goerlitz, Race Support Manager for Mercury Racing.
In addition to on-site support, Mercury Racing also provides money or in kind services to racers in all classes through a contingency program that they fund. “The Mercury Contingency Program is vital to small teams like ours, the financial support that Mercury Racing provides to us is greatly appreciated and allows us to attend all the OSS races” said Ryan Beckley a Cat outboard racer.
