Shootout and OSS Race at LOTO
Summer is on it's way!! Along with it, the races are not far behind.
I am looking for patrol boats to help with the Shootout and the OSS National Championships. It is very early in the year and I want to get everyone ready and excited about the upcoming races. This duty will get you up close and personal with all the action, putting you closer to the race than anyone else.
Patrol boats are there to help hold the boundary line between the race and the spectators. This is a very important part of the race as every race pushes in towards the course as the wind and traffic change the conditions throughout the day.
Last year the volunteers recieved a pass into the Horny Toad for the dry pits, and for all the concerts that weekend. I expect that to stay the same this year and I will always push for a little more for you guys that help me out. I am not sure what I have to offer yet for the Shootout since it will not be a "pay to enter" event, but I will keep you all informed of what I get done.
I want to say Thank You to last years crew again for all your hard work and thank those in advance that choose to help the cause this year. The race doesn't go on without the help of the volunteer force, you are what makes the event.
Thank you all for your time.
