Propstop ran their best race ever, leading the Cat Lite class for most of the race. Too bad a plumbing issue ended thier fun. Ray Contraras and Mark Kowalski had her hooked up.

But this race was all about remembering Randy Linebach, which we did with a video presentation that will be up on the OSS web site in a few days.
Each year, the racers vote for who they feel is the most helpful races. Someone who's always willing to help and who'l most benifitial to the sport. Past winners were Billy Mauff and Steve Page.

Every Dog has his day and today was Randy's day. He was awarded the Randy Lineback pepetual Lighthouse trophy and he and Jim Natoli also won the Vee Lite Race.
It was an emotional moment as Randy Linebach's family looks on and congratulates this year's recipient.
Congratulations Randy!

Mike Stancombe brought up his little buddy Jonathan and donated his flag and prize purse to him and his family. Miss Geico also donated their winnings to Jonathan's family. It was another touching moment that demonstrates that OSS racing is more that just what you see on the race course.
Nice job Mike.
