When OSS called for support I said how can we not go?
If you want the best seats in the house while supporting the cause for Al Copeland and the foundation PM me or go to the website to register for the patrol.
The race producers and the city of Kenner are pulling out the stops for this one! go to www.alcopelandrace.com for the info on this event.
See you on the water!

Hello,
We tried to work with another organization to do a joint race that would allow P Boats to race in Kenner. Unfortunatly we could not come to terms so P-Class will not take place in Kenner.
Sorry for getting your hopes up,
Ron

Ron,
I understand fully. Thank you so much for you and the Boards efforts to make it happen for all of us that have been affected by Mr Copeland and it would have been not only a breakthru for offshore racing, but a fitting tribute to a great man. You tried and thats all we can ask for. Thank you Ron and all of OSS for trying to make it happen.

Thanks Trent and Albert, I actually feel good just for trying. More than anything I wanted to help a man with his last dying wish. He restored Al's old Cougar Vee with the triple engines and wanted to race it with Al Jr in an actual race. He has Cancer and may not live till August.
You'll see it on the race course as a pace boat...we hope.
You're still all welcome to attend the Big Bash. I'm sure we could get racers the $40 ticket price, but the cut off is 7/28 for tickets so let me know if your interested.
