RACE BOATS
2-heat Racing

Maybe its just me but that was one cool a$$ new refreshing idea of how to make our racing more exciting. If you were not there this how it played out. 1St heat was SVL,Cat OB,SV on the course for 4 intense laps. You earned 1/2 of the points of the full race. As they came off the field the next fleet was already leaving the pits. SC,Cat Lite and extreme. While they were racing we had the time to change our set up including prop's, weight placement and any other thing we wanted to change. We were not allowed to add fuel or remove or add weight. We had about an hour to do this while the choppers were refueling after the 2nd heat came back in. We now went back out and started our second heat in the position we finished in on the first heat. Another mad dash to turn one and tight racing for 4 more laps. WOW,WOW,WOW
Teams that would have been done for the day had a second chance and that my friends keeps more boats on the race course for some exciting racing. The people that were watching said they loved it and kept them excited the whole race. Thanks OSS teams for being innovators.

Yes, Randy it was really cool. No more boring parade, round and round. It certainly kept it exciting.

Congratulations again on the Win.

Did you get your trophy before the down pour? Sorry Buddy I was running away from the stage and didn't cheer for you.

It will make a great show between the heats for the fans. Mikey was banging on his limiter and marching around he was so excited. The Mercury guys kept busy doing there thing for who ever requested. Awesome effort. Others relaxed then rallied for second heat.

Lookin forward to LOTO.

Ummmm we thought you were smile-ling

That was some racing, even though we weren't up front like normal that was awesome. Starting to really like the bumpy stuff. Just wait till we get it figured out like the lake racing. Should only take us a couple more weeks.

Congrates on the win we had nothing for Typhoon that day.
