That's surprising since the race is listed in the State Dock 2009 catalog/calendar......The race is a go and should be great. We are looking forward to it.

Where is the "State Dock" from the race course on that map??

Is the "State Dock" where the racer village, dry pits, etc. will be??

State Dock is several miles away from the race course. Good to hear that it is on! Might want to tell Bill his people are not giving correct info. although it could have been someone at the State Park Lodge that didn't know anything.

See where is says BOAT RAMP, close to the dam. That's where race village will be. State Dock will host a party on Friday or Saturday night and they have houseboats to rent, plus a lodge/hotel. It's the closest thing to the race village.

This is a very natural setting. No homes on the lake, just floating marinas. It really is spectacular scenery and everyone from a hundred miles around will be coming to watch the races. You have no idea what's in store for the promotion of this race. It will be huge.
