I am honored to have received this award. What means the most is that it was voted on by the racers. I believe in what OSS is doing and stands for and am proud to be a member. I I want to do is see our organization and SPORT grow, for everyone. Thanks to everyone who participates and puts the hours in to do what we do.

congratulations to ryan and his team. they are truly deserving of this award. my family and i traveled 6 1/2 hours to biloxi from tennessee to see the opening race of the oss season. while in the race village, my family had a chance to meet ryan and talk with him personally. he stopped from his prep work to spend a few minutes with us and told us to come back later and our kids could sit inside the cockpit of the boat. we did return later and he just started talking like we never stopped the previous conversation. he took the kids up on the boat and put them in the cockpit just like he said he would, he even allowed me to come aboard and take some pictures of the kids. this is why we will travel and spend our time and money to follow offshore powerboat racing, it is truly a family sport. congratulations again and thanks again ryan and team for your time!
