Houseboats Cumberland Race
We have a State Dock houseboat rented for the weekend of the race. We plan to bring a couple of nice larger v bottoms and raft them off the houseboat. It will be my first time on Lake Cumberland heard it's awesome and there is some nice hardware on the lake. Any advice pro or con for a fun loving group of racer/poker runners. Thanks

Cumberland is awesome - you all will have a great time. We are down there every weekend from April through October.
Advice I can offer would be BYO alcohol, as all the counties around that end of the lake are dry, so it's a long-a$$ drive if you run out during your stay. Since the lake has been lowered a bit as they work on the dam, drift/debris situation has not been too bad this spring on the west end of the lake, but be aware of course. Big party spot is called Harmon Creek - it's maybe 5 or 10 miles north/east of State Dock. Ask any local for directions. On a holiday weekend and poker run weekend, Harmon would be overflowing with boats, but I guess I'm a little unsure what to expect for OSS race weekend since this is the first time for the event and it's pretty early in the season. Ask around that weekend about it. Grider Hill Dock is about 5 minutes by boat from the dam where the race will be and they have a good restaurant (this is where my houseboat is moored). Hope this helps, and you all have a great time - I can't wait.

Ryan one of the Vs will be racing. The other one is capable but will be escorting the hotties and possibly assisting OSS patrol the course (way less stress). By the way big congrats on the award in Biloxi it's well deserved! Thats it, you are no longer "Sticker Boy" you are now offically "Offshore Ambassador Ryan Beckley" Seriously, nice work!

L.A. thanks for the heads up you are going to see some of the baddest machines on the planet side by side up close and personal. I will start a thread in the events section regarding a possibility of a fun run or unoffical gathering of some sort to rally the troops. Probably should keep this section OSS offical business. If you think of anything else let us know. Thanks
