RACE BOATS

Just my opinion but the boat is set up for race and any boat with 2 men oparating it also needs to go into the equation as to what class it races in.I believe P5 is a pure startup class with no experiance,1 man operation and not in it to win as much as to get out have some fun and decide if he wants to step up and rerig his boat to race.A pure lets give it a try class that if you win you have to move up in class.

Well..I agree that it is a good start up class. BUT if there is someone out there that has been runnin a go fast boat for years but never raced before, that doesnt mean he cant run in a faster class. As long as his max speed is within the allowances, he should race wherever he belongs. I would not expect anyone without high performance experience to just jump in a boat and race.
I think Todd is in the right class. I also think he has more than enough experience to step up if he chose to. But that is his decision. If he's happy where he is now, fine. Let up coming racers use him as the bench mark. You are my bench mark.
Best regards for the holidays
