So you want to race offshore race boats. Bring them out ladies and come play in the Atlantic with the big boys. I'm still confused why all those poker run guys with all that power wont man up and really show off what they got. You go out and spend insane amounts of money to have the fastest and nicest boats then spend weekends dialing it in for speed and then doing quarter mile sprints up and down the river saying how fast you are. Why not use the boat for what it was built for? Is it the money or no balls or just a look what I got factor? Try it you might like it.

Seaside is a neat race. We start in Point Pleasant and then go 10 miles straight south to Seaside where the course will be set up like a triangle.
In order to get all boats to the course at the same time, we start the slower boats first and then the bigger boats exactly 2 minutes later. Last year Bandit was the first to the course by a few seconds over Typhoon and Firewater.
Last year the course was too small and the wake action caused two accidents (I think Bruce was hot and wanted to go for a swim). This year the triangle will make the course larger and allow you to run into the swells longer. This should allow Bruce to stay in the boat.
Another great pic day in the making. Hope it's just a little calmer and a bit warmer and no rain would be a nice change.
