Why??

Why would Volvo and B-max drives be leagal for SVL at the worlds? I dont know anyone that ran that equipment all year.

Maybe because the Worlds is the 1st race of the 2005 racing season?

Is that a rule change for 2005?

Just thought it was odd that our class was the only one's to have them added to it. As for the rest of the rules it looks like SVL say's its the same as APBA/OSS.

And while I'm on it, Why is it OK for the Vortec motors to rev 200 RPM higher than the Merc. 525? Isn't that a pretty big advantage to have?

its my understanding that was done to keep the power levels close. I also hear that the 525 actually makes about 20-30 more HP than the vortec If I can confirm that guess what we will be running next year?

I asked Dave that question in feb he made a vague politically correct response something like the vortec compared favorably or somthing like that I would like to know for sure but I do think competition improves the breed so multible engines is a good thing as long as the power output is the same
