Almex Moto and Wiking Yacht Club
Join Baja Marine Dealer Network


BUCYRUS, Ohio (Feb. 05, 2008) - Baja Marine is pleased to announce the addition of two European boat dealerships to its dealer network: Almex Moto, located in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, and Hungary's Wiking Yacht Club. They help to extend Baja Marine's already broad international reach, which includes locations in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

Based in Macedonia's capital, family-owned Almex Moto serves customers across the country as well as in neighboring Monte*****, where the dealership plans to open an additional location in the coming months. The Skopje store, which is undergoing an expansion, includes a large showroom and a MerCruiser-certified service department.

To celebrate the arrival of Baja, Almex Moto plans to debut the new boats on famously picturesque Lake Ohrid, one of the most popular boating destinations in Macedonia. "It's very exciting to become part of the Baja family," said Dino Balic, sales manager at Almex Moto and son of owner Medo Balic. "We've already sold a couple of boats before we even got them here."

Budapest-based Wiking Yacht Club currently operates seven locations along the Danube and Tisza rivers, totaling roughly 600 berths, and continues to add new locations. In the spring of 2008, Wiking will begin building Hungary's largest marina in Budapest. After more than 15 years in business, the dealer boasts an experienced staff, from service technicians and drivers to sales and marketing personnel.

Miklos Varga, one of the owners of Wiking Yacht Club, praised Baja for its commitment to quality. "Performance boating is very popular with our customers," Varga said. "And with Baja, they know they are buying a well-made boat."
