OSG Outerlimits Race Team Names New Sponsor
OSG OUTERLIMITS RACE TEAM NAMES NEW SPONSOR
The OSG Outerlimits Powerboat P1 Racing Team is proud to announce a new sponsor, Tramontano Leathers. Since 1865, Tramontano has designed and created genuine Italian leather handbags, suitcases and accessories, using the finest traditional techniques of Neapolitan craftsmanship.
Tramontano visited the Miami International Boat Show, to inaugurate and promote the OSG OUTERLIMITS RACING TEAM and its new SV 43 Outerlimits Powerboat, built to compete in the 2008 Powerboat P1 World Championship.
“My choice to be part of this adventure with Outerlimits Powerboats and Giancarlo Cangiano’s team, is based on the fact that we share the same business philosophy--passion, lifestyle and elegance. We all strive for excellence, select our partners carefully, have pride in our cultural heritage and products, and see the value of ‘internationalization’,” says Davide De Blasio, President of Naples, Italy-based Tramontano. “Our common goal is to create an exclusive range of marine accessories made of washable leather,” De Blasio adds, “These products will be part of Tramontano’s line of exclusive and custom-created hand-made leather goods.” Tramontano corporate stores are located in Naples, Capri and Milano but the line is also found in fine International specialty stores.
OSG Racing Team, owned by the Neapolitan entrepreneur Giancarlo Cangiano, is the 2006 Powerboat P1 Evolution Class World Champion and plans to reclaim that title this year with OUTERLIMITS POWERBOATS. Cangiano was among the first to participate in the Powerboat P1 Grand Prix of the Seas World Championship and is recognized as one of the most competitive teams worldwide.
The Team’s new OUTERLIMITS SV 43 was designed and built by Outerlimits Powerboats to conform to the rules and regulations of Powerboat P1 and to compete in the circuit’s endurance and sprint races. “We believe Outerlimits is the best in design, strength, quality and performance,” says Cangiano, “We are looking for another winning season and World Championship!”
