Mystic Powerboats Announces Entrance Into Pleasure Boat & Poker Run Market
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mystic Powerboats Inc. is proud to announce their entrance into the offshore catamaran pleasure boat and poker run market. Coming off a new Lake of the Ozarks 2007 Shootout speed record with Dave Callan’s “Miss Longlite” of 209 mph and a 2007 World Championship win with Dave Scott’s “Budweiser Select” the company has now set its sights on the pleasure market.
Based off the world champion 50 foot catamaran the new boat will be 48 feet long and will accommodate Mercury #6 drives. Vacuum consolidated post cured epoxy construction will follow over from the race boats using carbon fiber and e-glass materials. Base power will be the Mercury 1075 with many power options available.
Tapping into the companies experience building luxury diesel express cruisers (60 and 70 ft. V-Hulls capable of 80+ mph), the interiors will be luxurious and comfortable. Cockpits can be configured for five or six passengers with a reclining sun lounge behind the rear seats. An integral swim platform over the drives will make water entry and egress a snap.
The new model will encompass the best of what Mystic Powerboats has to offer in unparalleled speed and handling, advanced construction methods and luxurious comfort.
