Default Super Leggera Line - From Entry Level to Super Yacht

Bristol, RI. November 7, 2008 – Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats has unveiled three new high performance models for their 2009 line up. Based on the success of the SL41 Super Leggera, Outerlimits has begun building a complete line of the SL models. New models include a 36 foot entry level, a 44 foot mid range model and the top of the line 52 footer.

The complete line of Super Leggera models (36’, 41’, 44’, 52’) are built using Outerlimits exclusive vacuum bagged carbon fiber reinforced lamination schedule with Post cured Epoxy resin. All cores are high strength foam or Penske. No wood or balsa wood is used in Outerlimits construction; ensuring that no determination will occur over time, as is the case with less expensive construction techniques.

The unique Outerlimits hull design was developed through the R&D derived from over 25 years of Fiore’s stepped hull designs. The fine tuned bottom delivers superior handling and speed along with the comfort of a softer ride. “The cornering and agility of this hull is awesome”, stated Paul Fiore. Light, strong, and rattle-free, like all Outerlimits powerboats, the SL models perfect offshore performance. The design of the SL models can carry these vessels through rough or calm water without disturbing any of the amenities below, and at astonishing speeds.

The SL36 is Outerlimits entry level model for those customers that want to get into an Outerlimits yet don’t have the need for a larger boat. The SL36 includes all the refinements and quality of the other Outerlimits vessels, just on a smaller scale. The SL36 offers super handling and a smooth ride, and makes an owner proud to have a top-of-the-line vessel. The SL36 features a large center entrance cabin with a head, a roomy lounge area with ample storage along with a v-berth.

The SL44 is Outerlimits mid-range model and a step up from the SL41. Both the 41 and 44 models offer full luxurious cabins with full V-berth, standup head and shower, two large mid cabin storage lockers and all the accouterments of other Outerlimits models. The cockpit features a new digital display dashboard with a dash made of hand stitched leather, a GPS chart plotter, side-by side stand up bolsters with drop down bottoms along with a removable third front seat bolster.

Power and luxury are inclusive in the SL52. One-of-a-kind customization ensures that every amenity in the boat suits the high expectations of its owner. The air-conditioned cabin has stand-up headroom, the finest leather upholstery, exotic wood trims, a large flat-screen TV, entertainment system and galley. Comfortable lounge seating, a large V-berth, recessed lighting and a private spacious and well-appointed head and shower provide the luxury expected in a full-sized yacht.

All SL models come equipped with the latest digital displays along with a variety of power packages.

Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats fills a unique niche in the offshore high performance industry by delivering custom, made-to-order powerboats for select clientele. Outerlimits has been a cutting edge company, staying ahead of its competitors since its inception in 1993. Through their innovations and a team of professionals who combine their individual talents to produce a level of craftsmanship that cannot be equaled, Outerlimits has been building boats that surpassed the others in design, luxury, and performance.
