Loriblu Takes First Place by Less Than One Second!
Fastboats Marine Group, located in Pompano Beach, Florida, announced that their 40 ft MTI Supercat raceboat had it's first win of the season at the Space Coast Super Boat Grand Prix in Cocoa Beach, FL on Sunday, May 22.
The boat is sponsored by Loriblu, one of the leading makers of luxury shoes. Additional sponsors are Raia Insulation NY and Hidden Harbor Marina. The winning crew was comprised of Randy Sweers at throttles and Danilo Zampaloni at the wheel. This first race of the season was a tight race with numerous lead changes as the Loriblu/Fastboats boat and the Stihl boat stayed close throughout the 82.5 mile race. It came down to the final seconds as Loriblu held off the Stihl boat for the win in the end. First place was timed at 51:54 and Second place at 51:55!
